40+ states later, 10 years traveling, I don't even wanna think about how many pounds of BBQ, or how much money invested. This place is nothing short of amazing. It's not fancy, it's not fine dining, and it's not your average BBQ. That is why I am writing this review. 1.5 hours from Nashville, and I will make the drive every year when I am in town, for as long as they are here God willing. Thank you for all your hard work, and thank you for the AMAZING food!!!!!
Great food! Best spare ribs ever! Freshly prepared in the barrel house on a BBQ in the back yard. Enjoyed the atmosphere a lot! The staff was also very friendly and offered a great service! So we really hope we will come back one day (we live in Europe, otherwise we would come very often).
The best barbecue I've ever had! This place is busy so be prepared to wait. My only problem is that it's a small place. Wish they could extend it more. Also I recommend paying by cash. You don’t get charged a fee.
There is a reason they almost have a 5 star rating with tons of reviews. It's not their cutlery or decor, it's their good food! Clean restaurant and when we had visited they had just received 100 on their health score. Great food and friendly staff make this place a must visit spot!
We asked several merchants in town to recommend a good place to eat and all supplied the same answer "The Barrel House". It's the saw dust on the floor sitting on a barrel kind of place that takes pride in the products served. Great food!
